Rosberg Joins Brunswick Boat Group as Vice President -- Supply Chain
KNOXVILLE, Tenn., June 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Brunswick Boat
Group (BBG) announced today that Mike Rosberg has joined the group as its vice
president -- supply chain, reporting to Dustan E. McCoy, president of BBG. In
this role, Mike will be responsible for BBG's strategic sourcing organization
and its logistics operations. BBG is a unit of Brunswick Corporation
(NYSE: BC).
Rosberg will assume many of the duties of Bill Gress, who was recently
named president of Brunswick's new Latin America Group, reporting to George W.
Buckley, Brunswick chairman and chief executive officer. In addition, Gress
will continue in his current role as vice president -- supply chain management
for Brunswick Corporate.
Rosberg joins the Boat Group after 10 years with Maytag Corporation, where
most recently he was the vice president of international procurement. Prior
to Maytag, Rosberg spent 16 years at Deere and Company in positions such as
manager -- coordinated purchasing and director -- international purchasing.
Rosberg also was at Mercury Marine, another Brunswick unit, from 1994 to 1995.
At Mercury, he held positions as director -- purchasing and director --
corporate purchasing.
Rosberg holds a BA in business administration from the University of
Northern Iowa and studied Japanese at the Inlingua School of Languages.
