Baja Marine Introduces the 335 Performance for 2008
BUCYRUS, Ohio (June 18, 2007) - Baja Marine introduces the brand new 335 Performance for 2008. A mid-sized model that simultaneously incorporates the luxury of a larger cruiser with the performance of a go-fast sport boat, Baja fans will get the best of both worlds with the 335. Continuing Baja's initiative to sharpen its focus on its core performance lineup, the 335 Performance joins the recently introduced 277 Islander and 26 Outlaw.
With sleek lines, superior handling and trademark Baja technology as hallmarks, the 335 assumes its rightful place in the Performance lineup. Inspired by the amenities and aesthetics of the 405 Performance, the 335 features a walk-through transom, add-on swim platform, split throttle controls, optional generator, radar arch, and a generous cabin height. Function, however, is not sacrificed in the name of refined form - the 335's wider beam paired with its 24-degree deadrise hull provides superior handling.
"We pushed the bounds of both style and performance," said J.R. Jenney, Baja's director of sales. "We wanted the 335 Performance to continue in the 405's direction in terms of comfort and style while maintaining that signature Baja handling and speed."
The 335's three-person sleeping capacity is ideal for overnighting, but the expanded cockpit means up to eight passengers can stay out all day. Numerous cupholders, L-shaped rear bench seating and cockpit cooler make the 335 the ultimate entertaining boat. Space in the cabin has been increased by adding overhead deck braces that eliminate bulkheads, and the roomier head makes lengthy trips even more comfortable. Driver-friendly amenities also abound, from a new heavy-duty windshield that increases visibility and durability to larger water and waste holding tanks that extend time on the water.
