Sea Ray® AquaPalooza™ Set to Make On-Water History…AGAIN!
KNOXVILLE, Tenn., June 22, 2007 – Once again Sea Ray, the world's leading manufacturer of superior quality pleasure boats, is the buzz of the entire boating world. This time with the return of the bigger-than-ever summer event that was first introduced to the boating community last year. This July, boaters and non-boaters from coast to coast will make history again as they join together for Sea Ray's AquaPalooza 2007, a multi-location, global boating party extravaganza.
While Sea Ray and Sea Ray dealers will officially kick off the AquaPalooza festivities on Saturday, July 21, this year's signature event, hosted by Sea Ray dealer, Prince William Marine of Woodbridge, Va., will be held on July 28 in Fairview Beach, Va., on the Potomac River. “As great as last year's event was, we were just getting our feet wet,” said Carlton Phillips, owner of Prince William Marine. “This year's signature party promises to be bigger, better and action-packed.”
” With fireworks, giveaways, food, beverages, games, and country artists Taylor Swift and Danielle Peck heating things up as they perform live on a floating stage, no one in boating will be able to match this bash,” said Phillips.
To accommodate boaters unable to make it to Virginia Beach, Sea Ray will transform more than 120 additional locations into official AquaPalooza sites, making it easy for boaters to travel to and participate in the festivities. Each event will be coordinated and hosted by Sea Ray dealerships across the U.S., Canada and the world. Most AquaPalooza events will take place during the last two weekends in July, but additional events are planned before and after these dates.
To date, AquaPalooza registrations are already three times higher than at this time last year. This year's AquaPalooza celebration is quickly emerging as the largest, on-water summer boating party in history.
