New Sales Director Mark Skeen Brings a Lifetime of Industry Knowledge to the Bluewater Marine Group
Newberry, S.C., September 10, 2007—The Bluewater Marine Group is pleased to
announce the addition of Mark Skeen as Sales Director. Skeen has a wealth of knowledge
about the boating industry gleaned from both his personal and professional life; in
this post, he will oversee sales operations for the Bluewater Marine Group reporting to
Jay Povlin, President Bluewater Marine Group.

said Jeff Vaughn, vice president of sales and marketing for the Saltwater Boat Group.
“Mark has a long history with not only the boating industry as a whole, but specifically

am thrilled to pass the baton of these management responsibilities on to such a capable
guy while continuing to work closely with Jay, Mark and the team.”
Skeen's knowledge of the industry began at an early age when his family owned a Sea
Pro dealership, one of the Bluewater Marine Group's brands. He took great joy in the
business and began his professional career as general manager of H & S Marine in
Denton, North Carolina. Most recently, he worked as Dealer District Account Manager
and OEM Business Development Manager at Mercury Marine. Skeen graduated from
the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.
