Cabo Uno Sportfishing Team Grabs First Place In Tournament Debut
ADELANTO, CALIF., Jan. 14, 2008 – In a week of firsts, the Cabo Uno Sportfishing Team, in conjunction with the Marine Max Fishing Team, won first place in the Fun Fish Challenge at the 2008 Jupiter Billfish Tournament held January 9th and 10th, 2008.
This was the first event of the newly announced Cabo Cup Fishing Tournament Series, a succession of 10 Florida tournaments for Cabo owners, hosted by MarineMax and Cabo Yachts. It also happened to be the tournament debut for Cabo's newly formed factory team, the Cabo Uno Sportfishing Team.
“This was an extremely important event for Cabo and MarineMax. Winning it is simply icing on the cake,” remarked Jim Renfrow, vice-president of sales and marketing for Cabo Yachts. “MarineMax is a true partner. They even provided the 40 Express for our winning team.
