Mercury Racing Extends Offshore Race Customer Loyalty Program
HP525 EFI Dry Sump Six Drive Engine Package Rewards For
Competitors in Qualified Race Classes
FOND DU LAC, Wis. Feb . 1, 2008—Mercury Racing is pleased to announce an extension on its highly successful customer loyalty program for current offshore racers. The program, which features special pricing and promotional rebates on HP525 EFI dry sump six sterndrives, rewards race teams that compete in qualified race classes. Mercury Racing reserves the right to determine qualified races and classes. The special pricing offer goes into effect immediately.
Quantities are limited to class engine configuration. Proof of an existing or new race boat from a participating race team or OEM boat builder is required for purchase. Qualified race teams, who purchase HP525 EFI dry sump six drive packages or engines only, are eligible for rebates on complete engine packages or engines on a per-certified race basis.
Rebates will be paid for each HP525 EFI dry sump six drive package or engine only purchased based on the following conditions:
- Proof of a registered race boat (used or new).
- Proof of purchase of HP525 EFI dry sump six drive package(s) or engine(s).
- Proof that qualified program participant officially entered and started a race using the HP525 EFI dry sump six drive package or engine in a qualified offshore race class in a certified race within 12 months of the purchase date.
Mercury Racing will issue participating race teams a $1,500 rebate per HP525 EFI dry sump six drive engine package per qualified race. The maximum rebate is $24,000
per qualified boat with HP525 EFI dry sump six drive engine packages or engines based on a maximum of eight qualified races.
Rebates will be issued to participating race teams in the form of a check upon the receipt and verification of rebate materials. The deadline for applying and qualifying for rebate checks is 12 months from the date of purchase. It is the responsibility of the racer to provide proof of above conditions.
