Mercury Racing Announces Offshore Race Customer Loyalty Program for 2008
Rewards Competitors in OSS Vee Lite Race Class
FOND DU LAC, Wis. Feb. 1, 2008 – Mercury Racing is pleased to announce it is again offering its highly successful customer loyalty program for the 2008 offshore racing season. The program, which features special pricing and promotional rebates on HP525 EFI Single/Bravo sterndrives, rewards qualified race teams that compete in the OSS Vee Lite race class. Mercury Racing reserves the right to determine qualified races. The special pricing offer goes into effect immediately.
Quantities are limited to Vee Lite class single engine configuration. Proof of an existing or new race boat from a participating race team or OEM boat builder is required for purchase. Qualified race teams, which purchase HP525 EFI Single/Bravo sterndrives or engine only, are eligible for rebates on complete engine packages or engines on a per qualified race basis.
Mercury Racing will issue participating race teams a $1,000 rebate per Mercury Racing HP525 EFI Single/Bravo engine package or engine per qualified race. The maximum rebate is $8,000 per qualified boat with HP525 EFI Single/Bravo engine package or engine based on a maximum of eight OSS qualified races.
Rebates will be issued to participating race teams in the form of a check upon receipt and verification of rebate materials. The deadline for qualifying and applying for rebate checks is 12 months from date of purchase. It is the responsibility of the racer to provide proof of above condition.
