Sea Pro Introduces The New 2009 270 Express
NEWBERRY, S.C., Feb. 14, 2008 – Sea Pro introduces the all-new 2009 270 Express—the most versatile Sea Pro to date. This addition to the extensive Sea Pro line tackles rough water and provides the perfect combination of comfort, fishability and style as well as a host of options that are new to Sea Pro.
“Not only does the 270 Express provide everything you need to go out and fish,” said Jay Povlin, president of Sea Pro, “but it has all the right features to keep you comfortable for whatever you choose to do on the water. It's the ultimate vessel for a demanding overnight fishing trip, a family cruise or just a full day on the water.”
For the first time, Sea Pro offers a full galley. A Corian solid surface countertop with removable Corian board conceals the recessed butane stove, while another conceals deep countertop storage space; these versatile features create an efficient and stylish workspace when the lids are stowed.
A slew of below-deck standard and optional features turns the cabin into the perfect place to rest and recharge between hookups. A microwave, refrigerator and a pressurized hot water system come standard. Optional air conditioning and a 15-inch TV/DVD player provide more than just the creature comforts. Also, a new sofa/berth combo allows for comfortable lounging and expands to sleep two, while a dinette table with integrated storage provides a place to enjoy the day's catch. An enclosed head compartment has all the necessities to accommodate when nature calls.
On deck, enhanced fishability comes in the form of a deep 235-quart aft centerline fishbox, a blue 35-gallon aerated livewell with clear lid and overflow drain, port and starboard recessed rod racks, four gunnel-mounted rod holders, troll-ready transom-mounted rod holders, a transom door and a flush-mount electronics area. Additionally, the 270's reinforced fiberglass stringer system provides durability and peace of mind.
