Triton Introduces the New 192 Allure
Perfect For Fishing And Family Fun
ASHLAND CITY, Tenn., April 2, 2008 - Whether you're fishing, skiing, wakeboarding or just cruising the lake at sunset, there's nothing like boating to bring a family closer together. Now Triton, manufacturer of America's most prestigious fishing boats, introduced a new family-oriented multi-species model called the 192 Allure that's perfect for fishing and family fun.
Active families need a boat with plenty of interior room, yet one that's sensibly sized so it's both economical to tow and easily stored in a standard garage. Triton has hit the mark on all three counts with its new 192 Allure -- at 19 feet and 3 inches long, it's easy to tow with a midsized truck or SUV, and it fits into most garages. And with its super-wide 99-inch beam, there's plenty of room aboard this beautiful boat for up to eight people and all their gear.
The 192 Allure rates for outboards ranging from 115 to 200 hp and has a fuel capacity of 40 gallons. When equipped with one of today's highly fuel-efficient four-stoke outboards such as a Mercury Verado, or with an advanced direct injection engine such as a Mercury OptiMax that delivers outstanding fuel economy, the Allure promises a remarkably long cruising range between fill-ups – a comforting thought with today's high gas prices.
Triton's 192 Allure comes with an impressive menu of standard features including twin consoles, tempered glass walk-through windshield, four pedestal fishing seats, two jump seats, 24 gallon aerated livewell, bait well with minnow bucket, center rod locker that can accommodate rods up to seven feet in length, removable bow seat
cushions, handrails, pull-up cleats, 20 quart cooler, trolling motor foot pedal recess,
Res-Q retractable boarding ladder and more.
Although the 192 Allure is designed to be family-friendly, Triton's tradition of building highly efficient boats for serious competitive anglers is evident from bow to stern. The forward casting platform is almost a foot wider than the front deck of competing multi-species boats, which equates to a more comfortable day of fishing and enhanced bow storage. The center rod locker is elevated a full 8 inches off the floor, eliminating the necessity of kneeling down in order to access your rods as in other manufacturer's multi-species models. The elevated rod locker also doubles as a convenient step up to the front deck. The driver's console is designed to accommodate large graphs and GPS units favored by professional tournament anglers, and there is ample room at the stern for mounting downriggers. The Res-Q boarding ladder can be installed at either the port or starboard side of the boat, depending on where you prefer to mount a kicker outboard for trolling. And of course, there's ample room inside to stash a warehouse full of tackleboxes, foul weather gear, PFDs, skis, wake boards and whatever else you and your gang require for an action-packed day on the water.
Like all Triton fiberglass boats, the 192 Allure features wood-free composite construction and a lifetime hull warranty. Its performance lives up to Triton's high standards, with a rapid hole shot, instant plane-off, blazing top-end speed and a smooth, dry ride. The 192 Allure is available nationwide exclusively through authorized Triton dealers.
