Mercury Racing Calendar Earns International Award
FOND DU LAC, Wis., June 2, 2009 – Mercury Racing recently earned international recognition for marketing material product excellence from Hermes Creative Awards of Dallas, Texas.
The Hermes Creative Awards is an international awards competition for creative professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of traditional and emerging media. Winners were selected from 142 categories in seven forms of media and communication efforts -- advertising, publications, marketing/branding, integrated marketing, public relations/communications, electronic media and pro bono.
The 2009 Mercury Racing Promotional Wall Calendar earned a Gold Award in the Marketing Collateral/Branding category.
There were over 3,700 entries from throughout the United States and several other countries in the Hermes Creative Awards 2009 competition.
Hermes Creative Awards is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (www.amcpros.com). The international organization consists of several thousand marketing, communication, advertising, public relations, media production and freelance professionals. AMCP oversees awards and recognition programs, provides judges, and rewards outstanding achievement and service to the profession.
AMCP judges are industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry.
The award-winning 2009 Mercury Racing wall calendar was designed by Artel Design of Ripon, Wis., printed by Tru Art in Iowa City, Iowa, and distributed by Norscot Group Inc., of Mequon, Wis.
