230 Select
Knoxville, Tenn., January 23, 2007 – The Sea Ray® 230 Select is destined to be a big hit in 2007. The newest member of the Select Series of sport boats is a staggering combination of smart design and powerful performance. From bow to stern, the 230 Select is a fabulous addition to the Sea Ray fleet. It features everything you've come to expect from Sea Ray and more.

“The new 230 is certain to capture a lot of attention in the coming year," says Robin Brendle, vice president of sport boat sales at Sea Ray's headquarters. "It will turn a few heads and then some. It's sleek and stylish, yet accommodating. It's a tidy sport boat that packs a wallop. An extreme machine loaded with sought-after bells and whistles that only add to its allure."

Starting aft and working forward, the 230 is an obliging and robust performer. The waterway giddy-up comes from a manageable herd of engine options ranging from a 350 Magnum® MPI (300 hp) up to a MX6.2 MPI Bravo® III MCM (320 hp). The cockpit is clean, well organized and includes a custom, soft-touch dash and SmartCraft® instrumentation. Fancy some onboard tunes? No problem. The Clarion® 12V AM/FM single CD and Sirius® satellite receiver with antenna, MP3 port, and digital remote control provide crisp treble, authoritative bass, and good clarity. In short, the system is pre-set to rock while you roll on. A lockable glove compartment and multiple upper and lower, cockpit floor and side panels provide ample room for storage of wakeboards and water fun accessories. Those along for the ride will appreciate the twin bucket seats equipped with flip-up thigh-rise bolsters, sliders and swivel functions. Additional seating is found up in the open bow. The port and starboard jump seats with the three-ring, stainless-steel cup holders round out the seating chart. Compared to similar boats from this class, the Sea Ray 230 Select is a breeze to board. Thanks to the clever positioning of a concealed, three-step, forward-boarding ladder, getting on and off during swim time is more la-di-da than laborious. The well-placed grab-handle attached to

the integrated swim platform simply demonstrates that the Sea Ray world-class designers were thinking things through for both the comfort and safety of the boat lover. The final piece of the layout puzzle comes in the form of a handy refreshment center, fitted with a built-in ice chest and special space for the standard carry-on cooler. Stocking these units with the appropriate bevies is your concern, of course.

All in all, there is a lot to like about the fresh Sea Ray 230 Select. It offers the ideal layout. It boasts a fine array of user-friendly features. And when you push the throttle, this motorboat's got strength, stability, and some might say, moxie. Heads turn for moxie.
