Baja Dealer Grand Sport Center to Build New Store
BUCYRUS, Ohio (April 9, 2007) - Grand Sport Center, Chicago's leading performance boat dealer, will begin construction on a new facility in Lake in the Hills, Ill. Scheduled to open in October, the new store will replace Grand Sport's current Elmwood Park location and will continue to offer a wide selection of Baja models.
"We're excited that this site will be much easier to access for the consumer," said Mark Miller, owner of Grand Sport Center. The store will be conveniently located two miles from Algonquin Road and three miles from the I-90 expressway. Customers at the Lake in the Hills location will find ample parking and boat-loading space.
Grand Sport Center has been family-owned for 34 years and also has a location in Morris, Ill. Renowned for their knowledgeable sales staff and master technicians, Grand Sport Center promises to serve as a full-service dealer before, during and after the sale. The new store will continue in Grand Sport's customer-focused philosophy, providing a high-tech service center, a comprehensive parts department and a 15,000-square-foot showroom.
Grand Sport Center also offers events throughout the year, including their annual Chicago Fun Run on the Chicago River and Lake Michigan. Last year's event drew more than 50 Baja owners and their friends. "We're also planning a moving sale and celebration, as well as a grand opening event for our customers," said Miller.
