25-Year-Old Center Modernizes With Brunswick Equipment
MUSKEGON, Mich., Oct. 2, 2007 – A 25-year-old bowling center on the East Coast recently modernized with Brunswick equipment.
Michael Klein has owned and operated Forest Hill Lanes, 1 Maurice Drive, in Forest Hill, Md., for more than 25 years. Klein decided it was time for a change. Forest Hill Lanes, located near Baltimore, targets league and casual bowlers of all ages, including leagues for kids as young as three, and offers a pleasing, family-style atmosphere. The center frequently hosts kids' and family night “Rock ‘N Bowl” parties throughout the summer.
The traditional bowling center modernized its 40 lanes with Brunswick Vector® Plus center network and scoring systems including LCD's and flat-screen overhead monitors; Brunswick Entertainment Network; and Lanescape® masking units. "The reversible masking units offer us an opportunity to change the overall look in the house on a seasonal basis,” added Klein.
Forest Hill also includes six lanes of Striking Line™ furniture giving that section of the bowling center an upscale modern feel in a traditional bowling center setting.
In addition to the 40 lanes of bowling, Forest Hill also has a pro shop stocked with the latest bowling gear, an arcade room, full-service restaurant and bar for customers to enjoy.
