Highest Scores Ever Achieved During Masters Event Bowled On Brunswick Pro Lane and Authority22 Lane Conditions

MUSKEGON, Mich., Nov. 7, 2007 – The top four professional bowlers in the 2007 USBC Masters Championship recently achieved the highest scores ever bowled during any other USBC Masters final in its 58-year history.

The televised finals, which took place at Miller Park in Milwaukee, Wisc., were bowled on PBA-endorsed Brunswick Pro Lane™, with competitive lane conditions provided by the Authority22® lane maintenance system.

The finalists -- Sean Rash, Steve Jaros, Patrick Allen and Walter Ray Williams -- as a group averaged 262 during the championship round, knocking down 158 pins over the 15-game qualifying averages. In the finals, all four pros scored more than 24 pins above their 15-game qualifying averages which were bowled earlier in the week at AMF Bowlero Lanes in Wauwatosa, Wisc.

Brunswick Pro Staff member Sean Rash won the finals using his Total Inferno® high performance ball by Brunswick. He became the youngest USBC Masters champion since it became a Denny's Professional Bowlers Association Tour event in 1998. While qualifying for the finals, Rash used the new Twisted Fury.

The arena lanes for the USBC Masters finals were cleaned and conditioned with the Authority22 lane maintenance system, including Judge™ lane cleaner and Authority22 W22 conditioner.
