New Hybrid Entertainment Center Now Open in Georgetown, Texas with Brunswick Build-To-Bowl®
MUSKEGON, Mich. June 3, 2008 – Mel's Lone Star Lanes, a brand new hybrid bowling entertainment center located in Georgetown, Texas, recently opened under the guidance of the Build-To-Bowl program offered by Brunswick.
The Brunswick Build-To-Bowl program is the single source solution for new center construction and re-imaging projects. Brunswick provided Mel's Lone Star Lanes owner David Kellerman and Delores Ammons with a complete line of services including design, materials procurement, and general construction management.
Mel's Lone Star Lanes, named after David's wife Melanie, is a 43,000-square-foot facility located at 1010 N. Austin Ave. It sports a 40-lane hybrid bowling center, arcade, redemption area, shuffleboard, billiards, a sports bar, a café, meeting rooms and much more.
The 40 lanes of Brunswick Pro Lane™ synthetic lanes are separated in 28- and 12-lane configurations, offering bowling as an entertainment option to guests both in the traditional bowling center setting, and in a unique boutique atmosphere.
The 28 lanes, which are geared toward league bowlers and families with children, feature a traditional bowling center atmosphere with Brunswick Frameworx® furniture, Vector® scoring with keypads, Pinball Wizard™ bumper bowling, Brunswick Interactive Games and more. The 12-lane side, named after the owner's father, CJ, offers a casual atmosphere for social bowlers and includes Brunswick Striking Line™ furniture -- comfortable living-room-styled sofas, for guests to relax.
