VanWart Named General Manager Of Brunswick Zone Xl Gilbert
GILBERT, Ariz. (Feb 12, 2007) – Dan VanWart has been appointed general manager of Brunswick Zone XL Gilbert, the new state-of-the-art bowling and entertainment center scheduled to open in late summer in the Town Square development, located between Ray and Warner Roads.
VanWart's responsibilities will include overseeing the day-to-day operations, including managing its 100 employees, as well as growing business for the 57,000 square-foot facility.
“I am thrilled to join Brunswick Zone XL Gilbert,” said VanWart. “Brunswick is helping to define and drive the ‘changing face' of bowling, and I look forward to providing customers with the best experience possible at Brunswick Zone XL Gilbert.”
VanWart is celebrating his 20th year with Brunswick. Prior to being appointed to this new position, VanWart was the general manager of Brunswick Kyrene Lanes in Chandler. He also managed Brunswick Via Linda Lanes in Scottsdale after beginning his career with Brunswick as an assistant manager in Simi Valley, Calif.
VanWart earned a bachelor's degree in education from the University of Arizona and currently resides in Chandler.
Brunswick Zone XL Gilbert is designed to meet the entertainment needs of families, friends, groups and businesses seeking to enjoy everything from children's birthday parties, to casual bowling fun, to a place to celebrate a special occasion or hold a serious league competition.
