Brunswick Bowling Welcomes Chuck Gardner As Product Specialist: Prokopec Promoted To Product Manager
MUSKEGON, Mich., Feb. 14, 2007 - Brunswick Bowling is pleased to announce
Chuck Gardner has joined its consumer products group as a product specialist.
Based out of North Carolina, Gardner will manage the Southeast region of the United States, replacing John Prokopec, who was recently promoted to product manager for the consumer products group.
Gardner, a 20-year industry veteran, was most recently the East Coast sales manager and PBA Tour representative for Columbia 300 and Track. In 2005, he was voted one of the top 100 coaches in the United States. With his extensive knowledge, Chuck has traveled the world, giving seminars and clinics to bowlers of all skill levels. As the Southeast product specialist, Gardner will visit pro shops and distributors in that region offering product support and assistance.
As product manager, Prokopec will manage the ball development process and production for the company's private label brands and assist the sales and marketing teams in their efforts. He will relocate to the Muskegon, Mich., facility.
Prokopec has been with the company since 1991 in different capacities and holds a bachelor's degree in marketing from Saginaw Valley State University in Saginaw, Mich., where he also captained the bowling team.
