Well-Established Family Entertainment Center Follows Trend and Adds Bowling Center As An Attraction
MUSKEGON, Mich., March 29, 2007 – Following a review of industry trends, a popular family entertainment center near Philadelphia recently opened a brand new bowling center.
Owners Bud and Angela Murray have owned and operated Happy Tymes Family Entertainment Center, 2071 W. County Line Road, in Warrington, Penn., for more than 10 years. After analyzing the center's current offerings and understanding the needs of their customers, the Murray's opted to offer bowling – instead of other attractions – at its family entertainment center. “Bowling is fun for all ages,” said Murray. “We added bowling as our newest attraction because we want to keep families coming back, even when their kids get older.”
The new 16,000-square-foot, 16-lane bowling center includes Brunswick Pro Lane™ synthetic lanes; Vector® Plus center network systems; Brunswick's Frameworx® furniture line; Brunswick Entertainment Network; GS-X™ pinsetters; Pinball Wizard™ bumper bowling system; and Lightworx™ lighting system.
“We looked for a company that could offer the latest in bowling technology to keep it exciting and new for our customers,” said Murray. “We looked to the experts.”
Happy Tymes also features glow-in-the-dark Cosmic Bowling®, laser shows, music provided by DJs and music videos, and two 80-inch TVs. The bowling center caters toward families looking for a clean, non-alcoholic, smoke-free environment where they can have fun together.
In addition to the lanes, the new bowling center includes a redemption arcade, two Brunswick Billiards pool tables and two party rooms.
Other attractions offered at Happy Tymes in the adjacent building include a quarter-mile go-cart track, batting cages, Fun Frame – one of the largest indoor soft play climbers in the United States, rock climbing, snack bar, and much more.
Happy Tymes also includes five party rooms, hosting 60-80 parties per week. A redemption center, 50 video games, miniature golf and the Space Train miniature train for small children are also provided to round out the choices of entertainment for friends and family.
