Brunswick Portugal Awarded Funding
METTAWA, IL, Feb. 18 2020 – Brunswick Boat Group EMEA, a division of Brunswick Corporation (NYSE: BC), was awarded funding for a special training project as part of Portugal2020, a nation-wide partnership program between Portugal and the European Union, whose principles are aligned with intelligent, sustainable and inclusive growth. The special grant was part of the 2020 European Strategy.
Brunswick Portugal was granted a 130.084,70 € incentive to use for the training and development of their employees, to promote the sustainability and quality of employment, as well as to support employee’s mobility. This inventive is to be used from now until July 2021.
“This project is important for Brunswick Portugal,” explains Joana Bernardo, HR Manager at Brunswick Boat Group Portugal, “It will help to support our efforts in the development of our employees to achieve our growth plans and our business 3K Club strategy.”
