Brunswick Corporation : Brunswick Marine Brands Complete Safe Boating Week Activities; More Than 7,000 Enter Social Media Contest

LAKE FOREST, Ill. June 2, 2015 - A dozen winners, from nearly 7,300 who
registered in a social media contest promoting boating safety, are being
notified by the marine brands of Brunswick Corporation (NYSE: BC) that their
prize - a comprehensive boating safety kit - is on its way to their homes.

Brunswick's U.S.-based marine brands recently joined boating-safety advocates
throughout the nation during National Safe Boating Week, May 16-22, to support
safe and responsible boating through promoting awareness and educating
consumers.  It was the first time in recent years that Brunswick marine brands
have coordinated such an effort.

"We were quite pleased with the results," explained Dave Marlow, Brunswick Boat
Group director - product integrity and government affairs.  "Among our goals was
to raise awareness and spread the word about the importance of following safe
boating practices, such as wearing a life jacket, wearing your engine emergency-
shutoff lanyard when operating your boat, and the importance of taking a boating
safety class. In concert with our participating dealers, we generated both
interest and mentions, particularly with our social media efforts."

Marlow reports that the week-long contest, conducted by each brand, yielded a
total of nearly 7,300 entries for the safety kit, a more than fivefold increase
from the previous year.  The safety kit featured Attwood's bailer safety kit,
multi-function LED sport light, first aid kit, telescoping emergency paddle and
40-liter dry bag along with two Mustang personal flotation devices and a Mercury
emergency-shutoff marine lanyard.  The contest was open to all U.S. consumers,
though Brunswick employees and their immediate families were ineligible.

Participating brands included Attwood marine parts and accessories; MotorGuide
trolling motors; Mercury Marine outboard, sterndrive and racing engines; and
boat brands Bayliner, Boston Whaler, Brunswick Commercial & Government Products,
Crestliner, Cypress Cay, Harris, Lowe, Lund, Meridian and Sea Ray.
