Brunswick Corporation : Brunswick Names Dekker Interim General Counsel And Secretary
LAKE FOREST, Ill., July 22, 2014 - Brunswick Corporation (NYSE:BC) today announced that Christopher F. Dekker, 46, has been named general counsel and secretary on an interim basis. He reports to Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Dustan E. McCoy. Dekker, who has been with Brunswick since 2010, will assume the duties of Kristin M. Coleman, who recently was named as senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary at Sears Holdings Corporation. "Chris is widely respected at Brunswick for his leadership and guidance in litigation, compliance and various other matters at our Company," McCoy explained. Dekker received his law degree from Chicago's DePaul University, after completing his undergraduate work at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
