LAKE FOREST, Ill., Dec. 11, 2012 - Brunswick Corporation (NYSE:BC) announced
today that Randall Altman, 41, has been promoted to vice president - treasurer
of Brunswick Corporation, succeeding William Metzger, who recently was appointed
senior vice president - chief financial officer.  These changes will be
effective March 1.  Altman will report to Metzger.

Altman, who is vice president & chief financial officer for Brunswick Bowling &
Billiards, joined Brunswick in 2003 as senior manager - finance, and later that
year was promoted to director of that function.  In 2006, Altman was promoted to
his current position.  Altman has both his bachelor of arts in accounting and
his MBA from Michigan State University.

"Randy has played a significant role in the successful implementation of our
bowling and billiards strategy and operating plans, and we welcome him to this
important corporate position," said Dustan E. McCoy, Brunswick chairman and
chief executive officer.
